Single Tooth Dental Implants

Don’t Let Missing Teeth Hold You Back for One More Day…

Rebuild Your Smile and Restore Your Confidence With Dental Implants!

Dental implants are permanent replacement teeth that allow you to eat, speak, and smile confidently again. Every dental implant is secured in the patient’s jawbone tissue with a titanium post that serves as the replacement tooth root. Over time, through a process called osseointegration, bone grows around the implant post and connects it to the patient’s natural bone tissue.

The dental implant post is then topped off with a customized porcelain crown or bridge—these restorations look just like natural teeth. A small connector piece called an abutment attaches the porcelain restoration to the titanium implant root.

The best time to place a dental implant is at the time of extraction; this maximizes bone preservation, improves aesthetics, and shortens the post-treatment recovery timeline. However, patients suffering from long-term tooth loss can also benefit from dental implants. In some cases, our team will complete a supplemental bone graft to build up healthy bone tissue at the implantation site.

At St. Louis County Dental, we can usually place a temporary restoration on a patient’s new implant root at the same appointment.  We have placed and restored thousands of dental implants utilizing this immediate “same-day” placement technique with phenomenal results.

Our St. Louis County Dental team will work with you to design the size, color, and shape of your dental implants, down to the smallest detail.

Accommodating Staff, Comfortable Treatment

Your comfort is our first priority; our friendly staff will make sure that you’re at ease throughout the treatment process. We offer a number of sedation services, including Nitrous Oxide, Oral Conscious Sedation, and IV Sedation, so that you can enjoy stress-free tooth replacement treatment!

Smile-Saving Solutions

Tooth loss affects more than just aesthetics; it can also kick-start a chain reaction of oral health problems. That’s why our team’s dental implant solutions are so important. The dental implants we use actually help patients maintain oral health, because the titanium roots of the dental implants preserve strong bone tissue density. These permanent replacement teeth also prevent your natural teeth from weakening and shifting along the gum line.
