Keep reading to learn more…
As we mentioned, LUMINEERS are porcelain restorations. Our dentist actually places LUMINEERS directly over a patient’s natural teeth in order to transform the appearance of the patient’s smile.
Here are some things that we do in order to give your smile a post-orthodontic look, without traditional braces:
To Close Gaps Between Teeth
Our dental team will assess your smile to determine how wide the gaps between your teeth are. Then, when we will craft your cosmetic LUMINEERS to fill the spaces in your smile. Basically, we can make your LUMINEER to be slightly wider than your natural tooth width. Then, when your LUMINEER is applied, it will extend into the open space between your teeth, making your smile appear seamless.
Correct the Appearance of Misaligned Teeth
If you have teeth that are crooked or crowded, LUMINEERS can also help you refine your smile. By slightly building up and thinning portions of your LUMINEERS, we can make the front surface of your smile appear even and smooth.
Many people choose to pursue LUMINEER treatment because they want to perfect their smile quickly and comfortably. While it may take months or years to complete cosmetic treatment with traditional braces, LUMINEERS take only a few dental appointments to place and refine.
If you are ready to learn more about cosmetic treatments that will help you transform your smile, our Saint Louis LUMINEERS dentist office is here to give you all of the information you need!
